Lisa teaches functional organizing and is often caught quoting, “done is better than perfect” and “progress over perfection.” Lisa’s sensible and do-able organizing tasks appeal to multiple generations. Her candor and relatable style make you feel she is right there beside you, helping you get organized as you laugh and cry together.

Early in her career, Lisa started an online community for professional organizers to start and grow their professional organization businesses. The Professional Organizer’s Think Tank Facebook Group has over 11.5k members and is the go-to online resource for professional organizers.

The Sunday Basket® is Lisa’s trademarked system for dealing with kitchen counter paper piles, mail, and home project to-do’s. In 2017, Lisa created the Sunday Basket® Workshop Certification Program for professional organizers to grow their local professional organization businesses. 

In the Fall of 2018, Lisa expanded the online community she built for Professional Organizers and the Sunday Basket® Workshop Certified Organizer Program.  She launched programs to help Professional Organizers start and run their businesses. The “Start” program helps Professional Organizers get started with business basics and “how-to” start a professional organizing business.  She also launched two more certification programs, The Paper Solution® Certification and the Business Friday Workbox® Certification Program.

Lisa believes that organization is a learnable skill.  It is a skill that is developed over time and changes with each season of life.  Lisa has helped thousands of women reclaim their homes and paper, finally getting organized with her practical tips, encouragement, and humor through her podcast Organize 365 and the Organize 365® Community.
